I will say the gentlemen was fairly well behaved considering how he had no answers, and I was losing it on him at the realization that we are in big financial trouble right now as a result of their failure to effectively do their job.Ĭapital One has the worst customer service ever when they say what's in your pocket you must worry about them being in your pocket. Absolute nightmare of an experience! Very disappointing and I will NOT make the mistake of trusting this process again. They also would not even overnight a new check for us. ![]() Terrible stress just to get OUR MONEY back or in the hands we desperately need it to be in! They knew nothing, didn't know their own procedures, couldn't tell me where the check could be mailed from to figure mail time needed, show no status of the payment, and have no way of helping customers in the crises they put us in (such as an expedited processing). They couldn't tell me where it would be mailed from or if it was mailed at all. I am waiting bc it COULD arrive in the next day or so (hoping they actually mailed it and didn't lose it - no way of knowing bc there are no notes) and that would be faster than the 10 day investigation. ![]() I can either take a chance and wait to see if they ACTUALLY mailed it then or start the 10-day process of getting the money back. Now they come back from being on hold and tell us the check WAS printed on the 9th. The bank won't expedite the investigation either. Now they won't send a new check or refund my money until they have "investigated" which will take 10 DAYS!! So now we have a creditor furious with ** and penalizing us and we can't get them money for ANOTHER week and a half. Called bank, they said it shows still processing even though money was taken from acct on June 9th. ![]() It is June 13th and we found out they have not received the check. Sent a bill pay on May 31st for $1700 to be delivered on June 9th. Never asked anything, never had issues that I can think of.
